Warranty
Warranty
All product TRIODOORS are manufactured to the highest quality craftsmanship standards and are backed by a limited 5-years warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. The Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of doors under normal use and service for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
TRIODOORS' responsibility for the merchandise is limited to the present Manufacturer’s Warranty regulations.
The TRIODOORS (future Seller) warrants that the doors and hardware shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship that may affect their structural integrity, functionality, or appearance. During the Warranty period, if a defect covered by this Warranty is discovered, the Seller will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace the defective Doors or their defective component(s). The repair or replacement will be performed with new or refurbished parts or Doors.
This Warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original Buyer of the Doors.
Warranty Exclusions
Failure by the Buyer or its agents to observe one or more of the following rules of Product handling will void this Warranty:
- Normal wear and tear resulting from regular use, including but not limited to scratches, dents, or fading of finishes.
- Natural variations in the colour, grain or texture of the wood.
- Slight expansion due to differing environmental conditions.
- Misapplication of Products or faulty building design or construction, including inadequate flashings, caulking, building settlement, or structural failures of walls or foundations, or inadequate overhangs;
- Installation in locations or a manner that exceeds or deviates from Product design standards and/or testing and certified performance specifications and/or not in compliance with building codes;
- Avoid direct contact with water or excessive humidity, fire or extreme temperature variations, or other environmental conditions beyond the recommended range;
- Normal wear and tear resulting from regular use, including but not limited to scratches, dents, or fading of finishes.
- Avoid rough handling of doors and doors units;
- All doors must be transported in containers, on pallets or other devices, protecting them from damage, moisture, precipitation or sunlight exposure;
- The door assembly in newly built or repaired premises is allowed only after the building materials have dried out completely;
- Before the installation, doors and door units must be kept at the place of installation 1-2 days before they achieve optimum humidity and temperature parameters;
- Door unit installation should be carried out by trained and properly qualified specialists;
- Prefinished door units should be installed after the floor, ceiling and wall priming and painting is over, to secure the door finishes from getting stained and/or dirty (excluding installation of concealed frames);
- Only detergents (not water!) suitable for corresponding surfaces (veneer, enamel, polypropylene) and containing no abrasives and solvents can be used for cleaning a door unit;
- Aerosols for wooden furniture may be applied on a door unit to give the surface additional shine and freshness (regarding the recommendations on the use of aerosols);
- Accidental glass breakage, such as knocking on the door glass with objects that may cause the glass to shatter caused by debris or foreign objects striking the glass, or breakage that may occur under conditions exceeding the Product’s performance parameters.
- Alterations or modifications made to the Doors without the prior written consent of the Seller.
- Damage or defects caused by failure to follow the Seller's instructions for caring for, maintaining, and operating the Doors.
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, accidents, or acts of nature, including fire, flood, or other external factors.
- Product reinstalled after removal from its original installation, except in connection with proper and timely maintenance of components which incur normal wear and tear;
- Rotting, splitting, warping, swelling, or other adverse condition of or attributed to or arising from a frame system, unless the frame system is a genuine TRIODOORS component part. Use of a non-TRIODOORS frame system by Bayer (or its door system dealer, distributor, builder, installer, contractor, or other agent) will not automatically void this Limited Warranty. However, while TRIODOORS recommends using genuine TRIODOORS component parts, TRIODOORS does NOT warrant the performance or integrity of any third-party frame product. Therefore, this Limited Warranty will not apply to Product non-conformities or damages attributed or arising from the rotting, splitting, warping, swelling, or any other condition of a third-party frame product;
- Damages aggravated or worsened because of failure by Bayer or its agents to take reasonable actions on time to mitigate any alleged damages or failure to file a claim for alleged damages promptly and during the Warranty Period;
- Improper pre-installation storage, including inadequate shelter or inadequate venting of shipping wrap in humid locations;
- Any painting, staining, scratching, or other alteration of TRIODOORS factory-applied exterior coating surface of the Products.
Warranty Claim Procedure
To make a claim under this Warranty, the Buyer must:
- Notify the Seller promptly upon discovering the defect, providing detailed information about the issue, including supporting photographs and a copy of the original purchase receipt;
- Cooperate with the Seller's representatives by providing access to the defective Doors for inspection, if required;
- Follow the Seller's instructions for returning the defective Doors, if requested.
Warranty Limitation of Liability
The Seller's liability under this Warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective Doors or defective component(s) as specified above. The Seller shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Doors, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or damage to property.
